These were initial experiments with 3-D printing and different sizes for Kitty Cones by using the “Shapeways” facility out of Brooklyn, New York.
These two inch samples ( 2″ with kitty in cone ) are 3-D printed in full-color using sandstone with a gloss coating, nickel included for scale. To be able to create prototypes of this caliber is really incredible and I’m looking forward to the further enhancements technology brings not just in 3-D printing but manufacturing!
